No, Victoria day is in May, which is the celebration of Queen Victoria's birthday. It is celebrated on the last Monday in May before May 25th.

Canada day is the celebration of the anniversary of the July 1, 1867, enactment of the British North America Act.(today called the Constitution Act, 1867) Canada became a kingdom in its own right on that date.

Thanks, I thought VDay was earlier but I don't recall hearing of Canada Day before. I've learned more about your country here than in years of reading the news.

This country may not be as old as the U.S.A. but there is quite a bit of history to it.
