The Canadian Public Health Association has endorsed suggested guidelines for the safe use of marijuana.
A group of researchers compiled the guidelines. They say because so many people admit to using marijuana, the country should take a proactive approach toward making sure the drug is used safely.
More than 10 percent of Canadian adults reported using cannabis in the past year. Among people 16 to 25, more than a third admit marijuana use.
Some of the recommendations include campaigns about the dangers of driving while high and abstaining from cannabis during pregnancy.
Tell me it ain't so?
