Spring Golfing around Montreal

With all this rain lately I'm hesitant in going to the course with images of swamps in my head.
Any recommendations to early Spring on a well drained course?

I pass everyday in front of the Vaudreuil golf (Rang St-Antoine) and it's always full of people, the weekend is worst.

Well I played the back nine at Meadowbrook yesterday... still needs to dry up more
The way it looks, all next week will rain!

I'm not a golfer, but if I was, I'd be a little ticked at the amount of rain we've been having too.

The St. Lazare area is a lot sandier than on the island, so maybe there's less of a drainage problem on the courses out there.

That's a good point, but we decided to switch over to fishing till the grounds dry up properly.
