Vancouver Flea Markets

I just wanted to post a couple of major flea markets here since I'm a huge fan myself and Vancouver is a well-stocked pantry of artisans and craftspersons as well as global imports and unique items so you never really know what you're going to find - imagine fifty garage sales under one roof, right?

First off is the major Vancouver Flea Market at 703 Terminal Avenue every weekend.

Saturday : 9 am ? 5 pm
Sunday: 9 am ? 5 pm
Holidays: 10 am ? 4 pm

There are occasional antique shows as well here and it's a huge warehouse type thing full of more than 300 dealers so it's worth checking out if you're looking for a unique gift.
Parking costs... something... and entry is 6$ for persons over 13 years.

21st Century Promotions hosts flea markets once a month at the Croatian Cultural Center at 3250 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, BC
5$ entry for adults+ and teens from 10AM-3PM
Parking is *free*

Their 2011 Schedule from their website:
January 16 ? 21st Century Flea Market
February 20 ? Retro Design & Antiques Fair
March 20 ? 21st Century Flea Market
April 16 & 17 ? Kerrisdale Antiques Fair
May 15 ? 21st Century Flea Market
June 19 ? Retro Design & Antiques Fair
July 17 ? 21st Century Flea Market
September 3 & 4 ? Kerrisdale Antiques Fair
September 18 ? 21st Century Flea Market
October 16 ? Retro Design & Antiques Fair
November 13 ? 21st Century Flea Market
December 4 ? Retro Design & Antiques Fair

I'll post more of these as I find them but there's a couple to start.
Cheers!

I'm a big fan of flea markets and garage sales. They are a great place to get good quality vintage items.

I've gotten my hands on all kinds of neat stuff at a song around here including old tools, art, furnishings, brass bells, Sheffield stag horn cutlery, Brooks Brothers shirts, nice silk ties, music, and various other intriguing pieces paraphanalia. Last year I even picked up four cords of bone dry oak for free at an estate sale.

Thanks for the info, I'm gonna have to check those out. I like vintage electronics, cool old automotive stuff and tools.

All of them, or one in specific?
