The most complete shop is all the way in woodland hills = beer wine and cheese shop. Mr suds is in ventura but is very limited, almost a waste of time unless you are passing through.
One good thing is that hop vines do great here in town if you have any extra space. (At least the varieties that I have tried)

I was thinking about trying to grow some hops. What kinds are you growing?

It's a poor sort of memory that only works backwards.
Cascade, Goleta golden (which they used to sell at island seed and feed) and shinook. They were all very surprising, produced several pounds their first year.
