Whole Foods in Charlotte

I heard that the Whole Foods chain was considering a store in Charlotte. I saw a couple of years ago that they were going to then they ditched the plan. Does anyone know if they are or are not going to build in Charlotte? I like Earth Fare just fine, but Whole Foods blows everyone away with what they offer.

They are building on Fairview road near Phillips Place and Southpark Mall and it will open in 2012
