My wife treated me to the Food Works a few nights ago. Anyone that goes there has to try the Maple glazed porkchop. Comes with red pickled cabbage and garlic mashed potatoes. My goodness you talk about Great! We got our chop well done and it was still so jucy and tender it was like biting into butter. If you've not been there you need to check it out. Ther are many outstanding offerings on their menu,

If you like bbq, Sticky Fingers can't be beat. Big River Grille is a brewpub with great food, downtown by the aquarium.

See this post as well. http://www.cityprofile.com/forum/cha...-fingers-4555/

Foodworks is very good. I recently tried the Blacksmith Bistro in St. Elmo, and it was great.

I occasionally travel on business to Chattanooga. The Big River Grille is pretty good. Last time I was there I ate a place called The Station (?) which was also a brew pub/restaurant. The food was awesome.

You're talking about the Terminal. Agreed, good food.

We have a lot of great restaurants in town. Someone mentioned Mellow Mushroom --I actually prefer Lupi's.

Thanks for the correction. The Terminal...near the train. I had to drive home last time I was there so I passed on the beer, but if they brew as good as they cook, then it is a must. We have a mellow mushroom here in Columbia and it is just OK. I usually try and avoid the chains when I'm out of town.
