Good bye Ron Santo

Today we lost the only good thing left about the Cubs. Bad team, poor players, wrong manager and now we can?t even laugh with old Ronnie when we want to cry listening to the Cubs . I hope they have some sort of tribute to him in the City soon as I will be SICK that day.

heard pat hughes just got signed to a 5 year extension.. I wonder who will be in the booth with him next year? moreland?

whoever it is, i think it would be really cool if they have him do the first broadcast solo in remembrance of ron

I thought they were trying to get Mack Grace. In a perfect world they should put Ryne Sandberg in as coach and Grace as the color guy.

I don't follow sports but I do remember Ron Santo & Ernie Banks.
They played the games on wgn when I got home from St. Peters and pre-empted the three stooges. So there was nothing else to watch.
