I don't know if it's been statistically proven or not, but I can tell you that through many years of personal observation that there are many more women around here than men who were born in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
Not to mention that my sister, my female boss and former female co-worker all married men who are at least 5 years younger than they are.
However, if you read city-data, you will notice that the opposite ratio is true for Generations X and Y around the world.
