How about a theme? Maybe have the month prior winner pick a theme.


I haven't entered this month nor will I because I crashed a computer, got a new camera, and am still jockeying for correct settings, how to use, transfer and store photos.

It would be great to be able to do that HiHood, but with only 10-20 entries it's a tough sell right now.

All the pictures I take are of my grandkids, and those haven't been well received, so I think I'll pass.

Some of us are on different levels and have different gear.

I have a nice Nikon D5000 with high quality Nikon Lens. Then to top it off I have Adobe Photoshop CS4 and I also use Photomatix pro for some of my shots.

Doesn't mean my pictures are any more important than yours. I love seeing all the photos. If you want to know some tips and tricks just ask I learned from others and will pass on what I learned.

Like to get the sharpest pictures off a tripod turn off the vibration reduction and you can also lock the mirror up so there is no movement what so ever.

If someone starts a thread like that, I will participate. I like taking pictures despite my crappy equipment and general ineptness.
