There are several new ones. Indigo Imp is one, the Buckeye Beer Engine is a great place to get a beer and then there's the BrewKettle in Strongsville. Hope that helped
Also, if you make it to the beer engine, they had Mikkellers Santa's Little Helper, which is probably my favorite beer ever made. It makes GLBC's Christmas Ale taste like a joke. I have been trying to get some of the better brew shops around here to try and pick it up, but unfortunately it seems like that won't happen.
Great Lakes is the obvious one. Been there and like several of their beers.
Are there other microbreweries that locals would recommend? Doesn't necessarily need great atmosphere, just great beer...
Thanks.
I too must put a vote in for Buckeye Beer Engine. The brewer, Garin Wright, has a sight about 2 or 3 miles away where he does his brewing. Basically he took up a section of an old plant. The other 2/3's of the plant is an indoor bicycling place. Great beer at Beer Engine, where they have their own beers and a very large assortment of guest beers from all over the country. Great pub grub.
Also, don't forget Rocky River Brewing, Willoughby's and Cleveland Chop House.

+1 for RRBC, not sure how I forgot that one.
Also Brewkeeper feels like it has been for sale foreeeever.
I use to hang out at Rocky River Brewing during College! Loved that beer and the atmosphere! We would start to drink there and then head to another bar or club in the Flats!
