Crime?

I see a ton of crime reported on TV occurring in CS. Do locals see this crime? I have visited and it seems like a safe place.

well I am new to the area (in the Army, Stationed at Fort Carson) and I think that most cities, there will be crime, but there are many worst places to live. I have not seen it fist hand, but, I just moved from the Baltimore Area, and these people are still wearing Halo's. LOL
