Best Raw Mountain Land

Right now where is the best place to buy raw land in the Mountain areas?

Best being best price IE not over inflated yet.

The 2 lines of your question do not go together.
AFAIK ALL mountain property is WAY overpriced!

Mountain land is not going to come cheap in Colorado, you would have better luck in Wyoming... of course then you would be in Wyoming. =p

whats too much. Theres 300 acres of prime elk and deer nunting with a tiny cabin for about 450,000. that's cheap for around this area.

^That is what I have heard since I moved out of CO. My dad has told me about back in the 70s, he remembers houses where cheap in mountain towns like Ouray and he almost moved our family there from the front range side. I wish he had...

Prices in the Woodland Park area seemed affordable from what I saw when I was in the area. I guess affordable is subjective but I saw listings for 1 acre nice houses in the mountains in the 2xx,xxx range. I was expecting MUCH higher.

The Silverton area has some for managable prices.
