The road to Lake Como down by Alamosa is one of the most difficult in Colorado. There's also Holy Cross City that's a rough one in Homestake Valley near leadville

4x4 Trails

Sorry I haven't a picture to share from this computer, but Moody/Crystal Mountain trail is a great one, and Storm Mountain is good as well. I suggest you hit Jax and pick up a copy of the Northern Colorado 4x4 Trail Guide (I'm not certain that is the title, it's not in front of me at the moment). It has every trail in the area, and several for the southern region of Colorado as well.

Happy Trails!

back when i had the quads, i loved going to Walden, theres the mountain trails and the sand dunes all in the same bowl.

one of my favorite views is Cottonwood Pass between Blue Mesa and Crested Butte. the whole taylor lake area is just spectacular and the pass isnt quite a 4x4 trail, but it deserves mentioning.

I agree that it is hard to choose a favorite one. Mine would have to be, Middle St. Vrian.
