favourite ski hill close to denver

what's your favourite ski hill close to denver?

I'm used to skiing whistler/blackcomb - what's comparable? any suggestions of where I should visit?

not that close to Denver (well, closer than to me in the Springs!), but I think Steamboat is the best mountain, with the best snow in Colorado. I hadn't been in years until last weekend, and it reinforced all my prior memories/opinions. 44 inches of snow over the 4 days we were there, and big crowds, but little or no lift lines. They really know how to move people.

I like Breck alot. lots of good tree runs. next would be vail

I also like Breckenridge quite a bit but it can get crowded on holidays...
