I've only been to Hudson's since they expanded the building a couple years ago and only a couple times - it was good then. Maybe just got lucky?

Hudsons and Lil Pigs are both the best since Ray Lever died. Maurice is always consistent, which is not typical of a BBQ joint, but they are not that good.

Sorry There is None

The BBQ scene in Columbia is pretty sad. Maurice's is decent, but I agree it is freaking expensive. Little Pigs is only good for the volume of food you get for a good price, but not real BBQ in my opinion. Disclaimer, I'm from Goldsboro, NC, home of Wilber's, the standard to which I judge all BBQ, yet to be beaten. If someone were to open a real old school BBQ joint in Cola they would make a killing, Cola is seriously lacking.

The Bone-In artisan Barbecue food truck is good though pricey. Kind of upscale so not your typical barbecue experience. It has gotten good reviews.

I also like Hudson's. The ribs are my favorite and if you get fresh pork skins right from the fryer...yum! Not for the diet conscious though.

I vote for Hudson's. Ditto on the ribs and they have a great buffet.
