The lady that works at the Winemaker's Shop was about as unfriendly as they come. Her attitude was if you were not some wine making guru she didnt want you in the shop. This quote sums up their attitude " Beer is made by men, wine by God!"
- Martin Luther
She is not very "beer" friendly, she and her husband started the shop. He is the head brewer at one of the microbreweries in town.
I would recommend that you make this apparent on you website, most of we brewers are "online" kinda people. I would also contact S.O.D.Z., and let them know. They have over 100 members and we would all be happy to have a retail location more committed to home brewing.
I started Buckeye Beverage Service roughly 2.5 years ago to service "Commercial" accounts in the Columbus and surrounding areas.
Since then we have expanded in other areas to include residential and home brewers.
We have also been members of S.O.D.Z for just over a year (Since AleFest 2009)
Currently We do not have a "Retail" location but do offer FREE delivery in Columbus.
The web site is always being improved and we do have plans to make online shopping available in 2011.
Thanks for the comments!
Cheers!
Any one know of any good beer brewing places on the east side. Gahanna is where I reside and I would love to find a place around here that has beer and wine supplies.
I, unlike others, had a good experience at The Winemakers Shop but I haven't got to try Neil House or Blacklick Wine and Spirits yet. Those are next on my list!

It can be hit or miss with her.
I think Neil House has moved to their new location, so check that before heading there...
