Columbus Zoo - Wildlights

If your in Columbus, I would highly recommend taking the evening and going to the Wildlights display. The christmas lights are just amazing!! I would also recommend bringing the kiddies to meet Santa...

Definitely go earlier too. They close the place down at 10 sharp. I went around 8:30PM and barely noticed the hour and a half go by. Give yourself at least 2 or 3 hours.

We were going to go next Tuesday but it is so cold out (and will be colder next week), we arent going to do it. We usually go every year, but this time we will have to sit it out.

We went over Thanksgiving and they added a ton of lights this year. Very cool. If you want coffee instead of hot chocolate you have to buy it at the front, no coffee anywhere else in the zoo, FYI.

How long do they keep the lights up? I will be in the Columbus area shortly after Christmas and would love to see them....haven't had a chance too since I was in Columbus for college.

For students (especially OSU), you can likely get tickets for about 50% off through the school!

Good suggestion, I haven't been to their holiday lights in years...and I only live 15 minutes South of the zoo

I just went with my wife and some friends (with two kids) and it was great! I had a great time even though it was 3+ hours of walking in the cold/snow it was awesome.

I will probably return next year just to see how it changes.
