Brewpubs?

I've recently moved here and have been looking high and low for a decent place to grab some beer in a good atmosphere and it hasn't been easy. Every place has shiner bock, of course, but charges you the import price! I don't understand that at all.

In Kingsville I haven't found any place decent.

In Corpus I've found the Executive Surf Club which has good food and a decent beer selection.

Any suggestions that are worth driving to?

i know the feeling. i went from a place that had numerous brewpubs, to a place that has zero.

there are a few places that have a large selection of beer
i cant think of the name off hand but there is a pizza joint on spid that has a great selection of beer.
someone will chime in with the name soon

the bad thing about corpus is there are a bunch of turds here who like to ruin a good hangout. lot of tough guy wannabe gangbangers that hang out places just to ruin the atmosphere
