The boundaries for wet/dry areas were not exactly by suburb or county lines, or even voting jurisdictions. The best known dry area is probably Oak Cliff, which is separated from the rest of the city by the trinity river. If you look down Irving blvd, where it runs parallel to the trinity, notice all the liquor stores are only on one side of the road. Once you merge to Industrial, now renamed Riverfront, starting at the continental bridge, beer wine liquor are on both sides.
