That best sums it up! What all, food-wise did you try? Where the rides any good? I've been on the storm, that's about as far as my comfort level allows.

I went with my family to the State Fair this year also. A lot of people try the strange fried food there so I gave it a shot... I tried the fried Guacamole and fried black eyed peas.

Not bad... but not something I would want to eat everyday. lol..

I went this year as well, worth any drive if you ask me.

I missed out on the fried guacamole though, that would have been on my list to try!

Fried guac? No way. I would try that in a heartbeat. I find half of their offerings are terribly hard in the massive cloud of food tents.
