Thinking of getting granite counter-tops..

Anyone know how much they run, or recommend a good company?

They are all over the board, depending on who does it. We used a place up on 380, east of 75. It's out of business now though. We looked at HD, and other various chains. The biggest thing I'd recommend is going with the 3cm option. Good luck.

Both Home Depot and Lowes will do it for you. But if you have even a little do-it-yourself desire check out these guys. You can save a ton.

What you need to do is go to a place that sells store and they will have a list of fabricators they work with. Do an Angie's List search through them and pick the best one. You can pick out the stone yourself, just make sure when you do, you mark the stone and take GREAT photos of the grains. We picked out a slab of marble and failed to do so, we feel pretty strongly the marble we got was not what we picked.
