The best green chili?

Best green chili?

I know that a green chili recipe is like a *belly button*, everyone has one, but I am looking for a great reliable place(s) to get a pint. Heat is no option, though if you ask me there are some green chilis that are too hot to fully appreciate the full flavor it has to offer, it is masked by the heat.

Tacos Jalisco in the old Elitch area (38th and Tennyson) is not too bad
La Casita used to be good, if you didn't mind copious amounts of seeds, but they changed their recipe

I like the jarred La Estrellita available in the grocery stores. I would like to visit their restaurant in Brighton but haven't made it out there yet.

What about Jack and Grill on federal? I hear they have some good chili as well.

2nd vote for the Brewery Bar (with a Tiny) for a local restaurante.
How about Mark Schlereth's Stinkin Good Green Chile from the market; It's pretty good too.

Los Dos Potrillos makes great green chile but be warned it's pretty warm but still super flavorful.

You can call ahead to order it by a pint or quart I believe. We grab it for weekend breakfast feasts.

It's great on their carnitas as well which they only make on the weekends.

Tamale kitchen.. Im 17 so I can eat anything and a lot of it so, my educated guess would be i have spent atleast $300 at that place for a burrito with their green chili since its just that bomb.
