Yeah, and you can walk there! For me, if I must drive for an hour in heavy traffic I'm not gonna stop at Loveland and fight the 60mph wind gusts, I'm gonna drive another 30-50 minutes and ski at Breckenridge, Copper, or Vail. But you're right, the snow is always good and the terrain is pretty decent.

Got my Colorado pass will be skiing abasin, keystone and breck this year. Might head up for the first time this year on Sunday.

I just moved to Golden from Arizona, so I asked my boss for Mondays and Tuesdays off so I can board at Breckenridge, Keystone and abasin this year. Really looking forward to it.

Winterpark for me. I get off the two-lane "highway" (less stop and go) and hit Berthoud pass. I learned to drive on the East coast. So, sliding a little doesn't freak me out too much. They have a decent ski school for my kids too.
