I agree with that. Baseball is my favorite sport to follow. Hopefully they can land a bat here in FA.

I'm a Detroit sports fan in search of a Detroit sport to be a fan of.

Baseball: Went to Tigers spring training this March, was all fired-up to see them kick booty this season...they hung in there for awhile in early season, but then...sigh.
Pro Football: Lions...need I say more?
College Football: I'm a U-M alum...need I say more?
Basketball: the ol' Pistons ain't what they used to be.
Hockey? Not a huge fan of the brawling pro stuff, like the Olympic variety better.
What's left? Do we still have Roller Derby?

Detroit needs public transportation from the "BURBS" to downtown! I'd love to spend an evening down there and then be able to make it back safely w/o drinking and driving or something silly.

Silly guy - this is the Motor City...we've put all of our transportation eggs into one basket - cars!
