Saltwater fishing

thought it might be good to have a spot to post some saltwater fishing reports, tips etc.

I've saltwater fished some all my life, mostly bottom fishing for spots, croakers etc. I have always preferred to Bass fish though, more fun for me. Having kids, they don't always enjoy bass fishing so much but they love to bottom fish. After taking them bottom fishing I've kind of adapted some of my bass fishing techniques and use them in the saltwater and catch redfish, trout and flounder.

After catching a few nice redfish though I am hooked on it. Those guys have "shoulders" on them. I don't really understand their patterns etc yet but I'll figure that out.

I hit the puppy drum last October (shore fishing oregon inlet), awsome time!! plus picked up a citation wahoo off shore
