Are you ready for winter?

It's been so warm here, my son has only worn a coat to school a couple times.

We had t-shirt weather in March.
It was nice, but I felt really awkward wearing my outdated fashions.

Posted in another thread that we got down to the 30's maybe 5 times. If winter was any indication summer will be terrible. Considering putting off my trip until fall. I can do the miles but I think we will see record highs this summer and I'm not stupid enough to risk that at 59yo.

I decided to buy an AWD car this summer so I would be prepared to service my accounts when they call saying they have no heat. I had no idea how upset they would be seeing my new Lexus 460 L AWD as one said "you plumbers sure do make a lot"

So I went out last week and bought a Subaru Legacy and put the Lexus in the garage out of sight until after winter. The Lexus being almost twice the size of a Subaru would have allowed me to carry more tools and parts BUT people only look at the car and not thinking how this would have helped them as none of my vans have all wheel drive
