Florida Police Officers

Im trying to get a job as a police officer/ deputy/ etc. Can anyone enlighten me to the process in Florida? I live in Alabama. THanks

It is different by city and county. If You are already certified it will probably be easier. In some areas you need to be hired by an agency to go through the academy in others you can pay your own way. The best bet is to call the agencies in the area you are moving to or just check their web sites because some cities might not post job openings anywhere but their web sites.
