Horse's may be slaughtered for Human consumption

I honestly don't know what they should do. Hay is $200 a bale here and you can't even give horses away. In the winter, many starve.

Your bales must be a tad bigger than the ones I'm familiar with. Right now, the ones around me are selling for $7.50 a bale.

These are the big, round bales. We are having a drought, going into the 4th year of it. They were $50, 5 years ago. Some places, they are $250-$300. There is a lot of theft of them, too.

OK. I am familiar with these round bales, but in So Cal, they are never used.

Most farmers use them here because they can use a hay spike to move them. It'd hard to find and afford labor, to buck the small bales.
