Scotch scotch scotch, I love scotch.
so i am recently re-employed which of course meant time to buy some more scotch.
when i was poor i dug up some interesting info too share.
total wine is a place by me, and they do a battelfield series of scotch. basically they buy the scotch from the still by the barrel, then bottle it themselves for a moderate markdown.
i got some 21 year glenlevit for 70$ which, when you consider is normally 120$ or so, i didnt do too bad.
and better then that. glen ness.
a diamond in the rough if i must say. aged 8 years, comes in a tube to protect it from uv rays, and its smooth, and potent. definite wood tones, and a mild aftertaste. no headache.
it was 11$ the first time i bought it. it has since gone up in price to $16 a fifth.
excelent scotch, especially when you consider the price.
