Hammonds

You have to try Hammond's BBQ in Glen Rose. Love to ride my bike over there. I know some of the family and they are all AWESOME bbq'ers!

This sounds bad, but I like Spring Creek BBQ. I know its chain and all, but its pretty damn good.

You also should try Hard Eight in Stephenville. Best pit BBQ around! Just be careful ordering if you're hungry...you pay by the pound!!! (trust me)

I seem to be about the only person who doesn't like The Hard Eight BBQ ... But to me it too expensive .. and very uncomfortable setting .. you set on a tree stump... No service. Beans have too many hot peppers in them & I like hot food. Brisket is just so so to me..
............
...Now I'll have to give than one in Lillian a try, as I have a son living in that area.
... Hammonds is a good one for sure..
.... My favorite at this time is in Breckenridge Tx called the Pit Stop.. on hwy183. Best hot links ever.. I've only eaten there at noon so I've not got their Ribs but I was told they al great also .. It's another one of those good Rides for Bike & Classic .
... Better call ahead their not open all the time.

While I am HUNGRY and thinking about it...let us NOT forget Loco Coyote Grill in Glen Rose. While finding it can be a challenge (part of the fun), the food is fantastic and the portions are HUGE. Very laid-back and comfortable.

I've eat at your Riscky's in the stockyards . That's where we eat when we go to the ''Yard'' Wife likes the BBQ shrimp. I like the beer & Ribs. Older we get the farther between visits.
