Great place to eat you have to check out

Casita Salvadorena is a great little place I found. I grew up in central america and one of the great foods to eat I miss is Salvadorian Pupusas. They are kind of like a corn tortilla stuffed with different things. This place has great pupusas. You should check it out.
Here is a link to a googlemaps of it.

It is a hole in the wall kind of place with character and good food.

If a pupusa is what I think it is. Blue Goose also has some tasty ones. There are several around the metroplex. A bit different, but excellent food.

Awesome! Thanks for the head's up. Hadn't heard of it. Will have to ask the wife about it, as she is the in-house foodie.

I've driven by this place on Highway 10 for years and never had the guts to try it out. Maybe some day.

There's another good place to get Papusas over in Irving. From 183 exit Story and go South. Les than a mile down the road on the left, just past the carniceria there's a Salvadorian place. The owner is always there, and one of the few people who speaks English in the place.

The Salvadorian plate comes with 2 papusas, a tamale, plantain and beans. Incredible!
