I'm afraid I am woefully ignorant of Montreal and Quebec. The only thing that I know specifically is that Arkel in Sherbrooke makes some of the best panniers in the world. IMHO. I will be boosting he Canadian economy by about $900 US in the near future.

Apart from basic geography, I know nothing about Texas either so no worries. I buy all the inventory for our company and on on average day I drop about 22K into the US economy.
Montreal is a pretty good biking city. Lots of waterfront bike paths with interesting places to explore. You would probably like it.

I love to photograph old "homes" and try to visualize what these folks
lives must have been like while living here......the last photo is an old
pumping station building near the James River of the City of Richmond.......
This is the "SPRING" at White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.......
on the grounds of the world famous "GREENBRIER HOTEL"....
West Virginia also has a
Green Sulphur Springs and a
Red Sulphur Springs...
