Why Nixon did more for the Nation then any other president.
One example. Under Nixon America saw 7 years of economic growth; the largest and
most sustained growth in our history.
He was a great man and an even better President.
ah, someone who actually LIKES tricky-dick? GEEZ, Chris, you MUST be crazy
don't forget Viet Nam, Nixon got us out of that un popular war
Nixon was also instrumental with bringing us back from the brink of war to a path of friendship with China
I thought I was the only one who thought Nixon wasn't so bad. He was no saint, that's for sure, but he(IMO), was one of, if not the greatest president in recent times.

This definitely rates about a 9.0 on my weird-sh*t-o-meter.
Nixon's second term was marked by crisis, with 1973 seeing an Arab oil embargo as a result of U.S. support for Israel in the Yom Kippur War, and a continuing series of revelations about the Watergate scandal, which began as a break-in at a Washington office and escalated despite Nixon administration efforts to cover it up. This cost Nixon much of his political support, and on August 9, 1974, he resigned in the face of almost certain impeachment and removal from office. After his resignation, he was controversially issued a pardon by his successor, Gerald Ford.
