I dont know too many places out that way to wheel legally, but a good place to check, depending on how hardcore you want to get would be some of the public hunting lands, I know paulding forest has alot of "Jeep Trails" which are basically roads that are only safe to travel on with a 4x4, and depending on when you catch them, they could prove mildly challenging.

Well.. if we're plugging groups: GBR 4wd Club... Wheeling in Atlanta

We ride all over the South, official rides scheduled about once a month.

Unfortunately other than some private lands if you can find someone, i doubt you'll find anything in Marietta.

If you are a stock or close to stock vehicle, the best place to go wheeling is Mountainside Off Road Park. Check them out.

Scott and his wife manage the park and they are very cool people. He will help you out and show you around.

It is a great day trip from Marietta.
