As soon as I get my bigger lift on I'm going to be checking out uwharrie, nc with a friend. It's definitely a drive from our neck of the woods, but I've heard it's worthwhile.

I've also heard there's a place in statesboro, GA that just recently opened that could be a fun place to wheel. I forgot the name of it though and a quick google search turned up nothing. I'll post up again if I remember.

been to Ure (uwharrie) its a lot of fun, nerves are on the edge on some spots, but they have non mod trails. saw families in the 4runners

If you are looking for a family oriented Jeep club check us out at SEVENSLAT HOME - SEVENSLAT4X4 JEEP CLUB. We do 2 trail rides a month and members are entiteled to discounts at select vendors.

There is also a state wide forum that is good: GaTrailRiders.com

There's a trail at the end off of Upper Sweetwater Trail off of hwy 20, WMA road thats extremely rutted and has quit a few nasty hill climbs.
