How about Sprecher out of Milwaukee? They make amazing beer! Their beer is more on the German / Malt side than most American breweries - but some of us like that.

How about the Souther Pecan from Lazy Magnolia? Actually, I think their Reb Ale and Gulf Porter are my personal favorites from them. Every time I'm in MS I come home with at least three cases of their beer.

German state brewery makes a beer called Tannen Zapfle. Went there for a month last summer, and fell in love with it. Cant find it anywhere. Not sure if they export.
