Icing in Metro Atlanta 12/15/2010 - Georgia

Hope everyone made it home safely. Took me 4 1/2 hours for a normal 50 minute drive. Cherokee County seemed to get the worst of it. Made it home and pulled in the drive only to slide sideways back into the street. Decided to park on the curb tonight.

Oh well, at least we have 4 seasons here.

when the ice started forming I was so thankful that I work from home. it took my sister 4 hours to get home.. that was a 15 mile drive (near kennesaw mountain)

I saw no less than 10 wrecks on my 20 min drive home from school...
We southerners just don't know how to drive on this junk
