Hey all,
I just took a job downtown Winston-Salem and will be relocating to the area at the end of next week. It's a gov't job so I will be there for a few weeks, then off to Waco, Tx for 8 weeks before coming back. Anyhow, I thought I'd stay in a hotel for the few weeks initially, but I'll need a head start on places to look for when I get back. I'll be coming without my family initially, so a 1 bedroom/studio will be fine. I just don't want to be in the projects and prefer off-street parking. Any advice on nice neighborhoods in WS or the commutable surrounding areas? Maybe ideas of areas to steer clear of?
