Want to pass one of those forum names on over this way? I was raised in the country, and lived in the middle of NOWHERE (aka: no power, no phones, no running water) and have a considerable knowledge of how to stay alive but am always looking to hone those skills. Everyone is far too reliant on external things (municipalities, grocery stores, civilization in general) for their own survival, and in my humblest of opinions, it is an equation for catastrophe and dependence which leads to being completely powerless. Keep at it! One day you'll be glad you did.

I to would consider myself a hobby survivalist! Between the over thinking what would I do RIGHT NOW, in the car while driving and the considering of stocking piling stuff, I started a website about Homesteading, Which is kind of most thing you would need to know in the After the end, the stuff about animals and power, and building and plants. But, Your deff not alone, if your looking for more people interested check zombie apocalypse forums, Similar topics more gun talk though!
