What do you miss most after leaving Hawaii?
Like the title says, If you have lived in and left Hawaii, what do you miss most about the multiple island state?
I was stationed on Oahu from April of 2000 to about May of 2003.
There are several things I really miss about life in Hawaii.
First off, shorts, t-shirt, and flip flops 365 days a year. Nowhere else I have ever been have I had the ability to walk around in such comfort and relaxing attire.
The next big thing I really miss about Hawaii is the closeness of the beach. A half hour drive from base and you are sitting on the beach, soaking up the sun.
The turtles relaxing on the beach is a memoriable event as well.
