Exercise and Art

I thought the photography-runs that zooey dechanel did in Yes Man was a great idea. I liked the idea of exercising while also making art. Why does exercise have to be just exercise?

It doesn't, I usually watch TV or listen to music, I would hate to distract myself while lifting though.

I haven't seen Yes Man, what does she do in it?

She's kind of a trainer, she runs a photo-jogging group. They jog and take pictures at the same time. Kinda simple but I thought the idea was fun.

Your not the only one with the idea.

I'm not much for jogging really, but I always have my camera on hand and tend to use it quite a bit just in the 30 minute walk from my house to work in the mornings. Of course I'm a photographer so I would be doing that anyways. Does it still count as exercise if my pata-mobile is technically my only mode of transportation?

That's a fine idea but I wouldn't want an old SLR bouncing against me. Many digital cameras would work very well. I wear mine in a belt case.
