How many Visits?

How many times will you go to the Doctor for the same thing? I'm at my second visit with a different set of antibiotics (sinus infection) but I was only in his office a couple of months ago and I'm he's think8ing we just didn't get rid of it fully the first time.

How many visits to a Doc before you get a second opinion?

IMHO, I have 100% trust in my doctor. He also knows everything about the meds I have taken and what works for me and what doesn't work. I would also be leery that the new doctor would turn out to be a quack, so to answer your question, I will stick with my doctor no matter how many visits it take to fix me.

I've only seen my Doc twice so I still know very little about him.

That changes the ballgame. Shop around for a more caring doctor.

Hopefully this will clear up and I won't need another. I don't know we'll see.

Or how many doctors would you go to if several were not much help?

A sinus infection two years and 3 doctors ago still causes ear problems. Holistic medicine can't cure it either but seems to work as well or better than prescribed meds.

13 doctors and counting for my shoulder. I'm in the military, though, and move around a lot.

That's a little different. Don't they also tell you what Doc to see?

At various times a humidier, neti pot, Sudafed, guafenesin, benadryl & Cetrizine HCL.

Doc explained allergies were several layers and the response was also layered. I add from my end and also try to minimize the degree of exposure. AC filters get frequent cleaning.

I use a mattress cover and hypo-allergenic pillows too. A breeze from the North brings the most pollen so I shut windows when I notice that. It's mostly being aware of what factors are in flux at the time.

Dry air immediately following rain or high humidity is never good.

Just my experience but I don't believe damaged shoulders completely heal. The damage around the joint can always be tender and I suspect a hard punch might hurt me as much as it's target.
