Not kidding here - splash some original Listerine on your skin. It's the only thing that has worked for me. I think DEET is a just marinade to skeeters! I never have found Skin So Soft - all the Avon reps tell me it's been discontinued. Also, try boiling some crushed red pepper and garlic cloves, then spray it around the yard and doors/windows.

One of the best shows ever!!
I used to watch it all the time with my boys.
We laughed a lot.

Love it.
My gazebo is a little less deadly

Sean, where are the Arizona mosquitoes hiding? I'm in eternally wet Oregon and I've seen exactly one mosquito in 6 years. Unless you're near a marsh or swamp our soil drains quickly so standing water is rare.
According to the evening news your state is (understandably) on fire and the firemen all agree there's not much you can do with 40 mph winds.
I have to guess your skeeter days are in the past or for camping.

I was at Lake Havasu a few days ago, drinking a beer with my son outside at dusk. 10 minutes later, and they got me bad. I had skeeter bites from my feet to the top of my head!
Lake Havasu is just an enlarged portion of the Colorado River, with dams at both ends. Yeah, there are shallows and some marshes, but for some stupid reason, them skeeters seem to be bad out there this time of year.

If I knew where they were hiding, there wouldn't be any left lol! I just tried to smash a big one here at work, but it must have smelled the eucalyptus oil and flew away. Skeeters love me! I got bites last night where I didn't put the stuff on.
That wind is terrible. What we need is RAIN. Please send some this way - I live with the skeeters.
@ havasu - Now why didn't I think to look online? Duh! Thank you!
