Fire? Those bugger are tough. My Father would have the house sprayed before winter set in, the scorpions would still make their way inside.

How about a 12 gauge shotgun? Nice and organic when it blows into a million pieces.

I hate those things!

Our well is right next to the house so I want to limit to an extreme all chemicals. Maybe I could make a trap and bait it with what they like?

Get rid of any water leaks and destroy their food source. Rule of thumb around here is if you see crickets, roaches, earwigs, little spiders you have scorpions too.

Sevendust, malathion, diatomaceous earth, chickens, cats...trying to remember...

My father-in-law used diatonaceous earth around the house, and while some made it into the house they were often dead within hours. Diatonaceous earth is safe to use around mammals, but reaks havic on creatures with exo-skeletons. Good luck.

I was an exterminator in Austin years ago for a company called Bulwark. We only used organic pesticides and they worked great on scorpions. I'll see if I can find out what we used.

Here's a link to their website.
