Got more information.

The well is only 36' feet deep.

Tested positive for E. Coli.

36' seems pretty shallow no? Ground water seems like it would make it in there easily in a heavy rain.

Its called a run test. Fill the tub for 20min. to check for any slow down in pressure. This is also a septic test to see if it can handle 20 min of water flow.
20 minutes is not long enough to test a water well.

Tell us more about the well.

How much casing, type and size??

36 foot is fine if there is 27 foot of casing and it is properly grouted.

Your local health department should have a log on this well.
