Gerber Eco-Flush.

I'm at the Mirage in Las Vegas on business and had to look into the tank to see what the heck this was. It uses compressed air, makes a really cool sound and flushes beautifully with very little water.

Gerber Eco-Flush.

Sounds very nice as long as there's no baby on the side of it.

I'm not sure if it was a Kohler. I think that one important feature is a larger diameter area at the bottom.

I have Kohler Rochelle low profile toilets. They flush well but are discontinued. A new mechanism is $359 even a new seat is $196, but they don't have that institutional look and they are quiet.

I also have Kohler toilets. You pay a few bucks more, but well worth it IMHO.

I put in an American Standard with the 4" flush valve (CAUTION YOU HAVE TO ORDER THEM FROM AS). That sucker could flush a water buffalo turd I am telling you. I can put a hurtin on a toilet and it has never ever clogged once. 4" flush valve allows more water in the bowl faster than a 3" flush valve. Though I think RiponredTJ might need one with the 5" Flush valve.

I have in a hotel room. It was a very fast flush and got the job done in one flush.
