At home I use a John Deere LT133 for cutting grass and picking up leaves. I have a Kubota B4200 at our summer cabin in Ohio. It is deisel 4wd. I am in the process of restoring a 1964 Wheel Horse 8hp lawn tractor

I had a craftsman garden tractor 38" mowing deck. Ran fine but didn't have the best traction and a little small for a couple of acres. Upgraded to a JD GT 235 52" deck. Much better traction on the hills and the larger deck(optional) cut my mowing time down considerably. Also use it to pull a agrifab trailer heavily loaded and does fine.

...so we fixed it up...

Still does a little garden work, too....

Not to take away from the thread...just thought you guys might get a kick out of some pics of 'old school' tractor in action

I have the biggest piece of junk that ever called itself a garden tractor!
A Poulain Weedeater. I cannot wait for the day it crashes so I can justify to buy a different one!
