The Ginger man has one of the best selections in town. The flying saucer is pretty good, if it wasn't downtown.

Wow, all these places sound excellent! I'm hitting up Houston to visit some buddies here sometime in the next month or so, where should a girl and her ladies go to find some decent hard cider on tap? Pretentious attitude not required.

I know Gingerman has Ace Pear cider on Tap, a little sweet for my taste but decent. They also have strongbow but that is in a 16 oz can I think. its been a couple months since I've been there so it may be different now.

to original posts. I really like going to Gingerman and Flying Saucer, but parking can suck for both being in Rice Village and Downtown.

Cheers

still love my out of the loop beer haven, Rockwells. 150+ beers.. owner is very friendly, and knows what kind of beers I like, has even gotten some by my request. Last friday, I walked in, she didn't hesitate one second to grab a pint glass and pour a saint arnold DR11.. being an IIPA she knew what I was there for. I guarantee it was the only place in town that had DR11 that had a zero second wait time to get one, and it was only $4 until 7.
and I think I"m starting to get friends prices now. that friday I had two DR11s, a dales pale ale, a moose drool and a ranger IPA, wife had four Widdikerkes (belgian wheat), and sweet potato fries.. the price?

$33.

On telge, about a mile north of 290. On the right handside in between a gas station and Mac's sports bar.

there's a little place in old town spring called jailhouse saloon. They have southern star beers and fat tire, some others. It's a true icehouse, so you can bring any bottle of liquor you want. So if you hang out with habitual tuaca bomb takers, this lowers your tab substantially.
It's on preston.
