Depending on your area. There is a small joint around the corner called Angelo's Pizza. They make VERY good pizza, and are competitively priced. Their wings, pastas, and sandwiches are all also exquisite.

It's on 5414 Birdwood st. Near chimney rock.

Ponzo's in Midtown is the best pizza I've had in Houston. The owner is awesome and always up for a chat. I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to pizza so most places are average at best.
